Excursion to Blaubeuren

On a delightful excursion (18.10.2025) we took our international guests to Blaubeuren. The Prehistoric Museum (urmu) welcomed us first. The world-famous works of art from the Paleolithic era, explained to us by an extraordinary guide as well as the interactive exhibits, have been an existing start. Lunch at the Waldgaststätte  Schillerstein served to hold up our energy levels. With lots of inspiration for “Leib und Seele”, we enjoyed a scenic walk around the Blautopf, whose deep blue spring, surrounded by autumn colors in sunny weather, has been particularly scenic that day.  The visit to the Benedictine monastery of Blaubeuren (founded in 1085) finally offered fascinating insights into the “more recent” history and architecture of the town.
